The Constitutional Studies Department is a study and research group that involves students and professors in several constitutional rights debates. The group shares professor’s Peter Häberle’s theory and those of the authors who reinforce the dignity of the human being methodology. With that, the group seeks to analyze the constitutional hermeneutics and the theory of fundamental rights. It also seeks to investigate the theory of the Constitution as a cultural science and to face the pluralist conception of the Constitution besides presenting a constitutional comparison method as the most adequate path to fulfill the Constitution.
